While Cairo is famous for the Great Pyramids, Luxor’s highlight is arguably the Valley of the Kings. Here, the pharaohs of the New Kingdom were laid to rest for almost 500 years, with elaborate tombs built to house them and their treasures for the afterlife. These tombs are richly decorated with scenes from Egyptian mythology, offering a glimpse into the ancient beliefs and funerary rituals.
In addition to the Valley of the Kings, you'll also visit iconic sites such as the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s most remarkable ancient monuments.
